ALET LES BAINS
For centuries, under the leadership of the monks of the Abbey of Notre-Dame d ́Aleth, the numerous winegrowing families of the city of Alet les Bains have produced delicious red and white wines called still. Between audacity and heritage, the Cave des vignerons du Sieur d ́Arques is a pioneer in the selection of the terroir which has been producing still wines and sparkling wines since 1946.
At the same time, the winemakers of the Anne de Joyeuse cellar present on the territory of the City of Alet les Bains, aware of the exceptional quality of their terroir, began to plant Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon and Chardonnay in 1972. Rewarded for their efforts, they offer a wide range of AOC Limoux Rouge, AOC Limoux Blanc and varietal wines for tasting in the cellar.
